About Me
My name is Sapphi.
I am a self-taught freelance digital 2d artist, presented under pseudonyms "Sapphi" or "Sapphiringore", mainly specialized in creature design, illustration and concept art. I also do traditional art, sketching, animation, visual design, writing, storytelling, environment concept art and other stuff directly or indirectly related to my work.
And I really love blue color in all of its shades.
My way as a "wannabe-professional" artist started in the beginning of 2021 when I drew my first digital artwork with an iPad for the first time in my life.

How old am I and when did I start drawing?
I am 21, I started drawing professionally at 16, but like everyone else, I’ve been drawing since I can remember myself. At the moment my experience is approximately 5 years. -
In which program and on what do I draw?
Basically in Photoshop on Wacom Syntic 22 using the keyboard. I also sometimes draw in Procreate on Ipad Pro 11' or on paper with a black ballpoint pen, but much less often. -
What brushes do I use?
I have a folder with ~ 40 brushes, but i mainly use 2-4 of them. I can send them to you, if you ask me. -
How many layers do I usually use?
Usually 3-5: background, character/s, signature. Basically, I am an one-layer artist, that is, even if I use masks, I tend to combine them into one layer after working on them and continue painting on it. -
What does my art process usually looks like?
Rough pose sketch > Clean sketch > Basic coloring > Render -
How long does it take to draw one art?
A sketch usually takes no more than a day, a full-rendered piece usually takes at least a couple. In general, to finish one art on average takes me from one to two days, less often three or more. -
Do I have any art education?
No, I'm a pure self-taught. No education, no courses, no tutorials, just practice. -
