Hi

My name is Sapphi.

​I am a self-taught freelance digital 2d artist, mostly presented under pseudonyms "Sapphi" or "Sapphiringore", mainly specialized in creature design, illustration and concept art. I also do traditional art, sketching, animation, visual design, writing, storytelling, environment concept art and other things directly or indirectly related to my work.

And I really love blue color in all of its shades. 
My way as a "wannabe-professional" artist started in the beginning of 2021 when I drew my first digital artwork with on an iPad for the first time in my life.

FAQ

  • How old am I and when did I start drawing?

    I am 19, I started drawing professionally at 16, but like everyone else, I’ve been drawing since I can remember myself. At the moment my experience is approximately 4 years.

  • Where and on what do I draw?

    Basically in Photoshop on Wacom Syntic 16 using the keyboard. I also sometimes draw in Procreate on Ipad Pro 11' or on paper with a black ballpoint pen, but much less often.

  • What brushes do I use?

    In Photoshop - the default brush with a ballpoint pen shape, less often some brushes I got from other artists. 

  • How long does it take to draw one art?

    A sketch usually takes no more than a day, a full-rendered piece usually takes at least a couple. In general, to finish one art on average takes me from one to two days, less often three or more.

  • Did I go to art school?

    No, I'm pure self-taught. No education, no courses, no tutorials, just practice.
